Overview

Begin the tour by meeting your driver or tour guide at your hotel lobby with a warm smile. You will be driven to the middle of Bali in Ubud village. There you can stop at the popular sacred monkey forest, where you will find around 700 Balinese long tailed macaques in wild. Walk along the 12,5 hectares forest as the perfect place for the healthy monkeys. Find three temples inside guarded by the monkeys live in harmony.

Next, drive to the north of Ubud to stop at the magical Tegalalang rice terrace to see the real traditional farmer activities in their daily activities. Not far from this area you will have a chance to visit traditional coffee plantation with its popular animal poo coffee.

Swing on a giant swing overlooking the haunted valley will be soon becoming your favorite activity. Make a unique picture for your social media feeds. Next, enjoy your included lunch (if option selected) with the jungle atmosphere.

After that, you will visit Tirta Empul a holy spring temple. You can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing before they pray at the main temple. And your last stop is Tegenungan waterfall with a beautiful green surrounding make the area very fresh. Take a short walk to get closer to the waterfall or just see the view from the top hill.

Into the heart of Bali in just one day

It was such an incredible adventure which immersed us in the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Bali. From the awe-inspiring Tegalalang Rice Terrace to the tranquil Tirta Empul Temple, each stop on the tour revealed the island's rich heritage. Interacting with the playful macaques at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary was a highlight, and cooling off at Tegenungan Waterfall was pure bliss. Throughout the journey, our guide, Manik, shared fascinating insights into Balinese and Indonesian culture, making the experience truly unforgettable.

Great experience

We had the best experience with Lewer. He was super helpful, drove us around a few key spots that helped us know better Bali in a cultural way. He answered all of our questions and took care of us. We really enjoyed the experience! Totally recommend going with Lewer.

Our family tour of Ubud with Desna

We had such an amazing time with Desna showing us Ubud. He was great to communicate with before picking us up from our hotel, he personalised the trip to cater for our needs and work in best with what would be best for our family. We are travelling with our 2 year old son who can be shy and a little difficult at times with strangers but Desna took the time to be friendly with him, he also had a very safe car seat and he ensured our boy was safe in it. He asked what times our boy sleeps and planned the trip to have the longer drive during his sleep time and even had some great music to help him sleep. We got to see so many amazing sites and Desna came along, not just waiting in the car, he was there to help us with entry, explaining everything that we wouldn’t have known and to show us where to get the best shots. But I think what we liked most was how personal and friendly he was, he really made us feel welcome and we could feel how much he cared for us, some of the walks can be quite dangerous for our son and he made sure he was safe and we were aware of any dangers. Will 100% recommend this tour and also doing it with Desna, he made this tour amazing for us, also, going back through our photos he took, he is quite the photographer!
