We hebben een prachtige dag gehad. Indrukwekkend. Zeker een aanrader! Hebben een goede indruk van het land gekregen. Onze gids,Dekwi Drover, heeft ons heel veel informatie gegeven over Bali, de tempel, Ubud, de rijst-terrassen en de waterval. Hij is een prima chauffeur en gaf ons alle tijd. Heeft veel kennis van zaken. Heeft humor en is vriendelijk.

We booked this through get your guide, and had Merta as our guide. He made the tour very enjoyable and took some amazing pictures for us, and offered advice on certain poses which turned out amazing. He was patient and never rushed us to leave any of the places we visited. From the moment he picked us up from the hotel he told us about the history of Bali. He also explained the history of every site as well as while we were travelling in the car. He is so warm, friendly and a very calm person. He always made sure we did what we wanted by giving us options ahead of time. I wanted to make 1 more stop before returning to the hotel and he went above and beyond to make sure I was able to do what I'd asked. He offered us refreshments all along the way. He let me charge my phone while travelling which was needed for more amazing photos and even borrowed me his charger during lunch to make sure my phone had enough battery to capture the best photos of every place we visited. I would highly recommend paying extra for the swing and lunch as the scenery was beautiful and food was amazing. Anyone who has Merta as their guide can count themselves lucky because they will get more then what they paid for.

So we booked this activity very late and our guide (Merta) got in touch very quickly to arrange a pick up in the morning. Merta was very knowledgeable, he enlightened us and explained to us the history and the traditions of Bali when we set off on our journey. I have learnt so much of the culture in the ride to the destinations more than I have ever learnt about the history of Indonesia. He stopped for us when we asked him for toilet breaks, recommended us to try certain indonesian foods and even took some of the best pictures for this holiday. He really went beyond the mile to make sure we were comfortable. Even after our tours has finished, we requested him to make a stop at a jewelery making shop before heading back to our hotel and he was very happy to do that for us. I have another activity booked the next day and I was very sad that Merta won't be our tour guide for it. I can't recommend Merta enough for other tourists like myself. By far the very very very best tour guide I have ever had so far on my holiday, he easily takes the number one spot. I hope other people will be lucky to have him for a tour guide as he is very very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, funny, charismatic and full of beautiful energy. I think I have made a friend for life and I can't wait for him to show me around the country next time I visit Indonesia. I hope the employer know how much of a diamond they have in their hands.
