5 star experience with Ardana

Absolutely amazing day trip with Ardana that I can’t fault. An amazing tour guide with a beautiful personality who genuinely has a love for teaching tourists about Balinese culture. If you are after an all rounded tour of the biggest Ubud sights, he is the guide for you! My mum and I booked this very last minute when we arrived in Ubud so we were a little worried about it but we weren’t left disappointed and it’s our favourite part of the trip so far. What impressed me the most at first was the communication between myself and the private driver. He text the night before to confirm and in the morning to say he had arrived outside the reception to our hotel! Very helpful for an anxious tourist! Ardana’s English was perfect and he was genuinely happy to teach us about Balinese culture and answer our many questions. We first visited a coffee plantation where we tried many times of coffee and we were taught the process of making coffee. Then, we went to a temple where Ardana talked us through more about the religion in Bali and the different parts of the temple. We then went onto visit the monkey sanctuary, a beautiful rice paddy and waterfall. It was definitely beneficial having him as he knew the best spots for pictures and how to act with the monkeys. My mum and I found Ardana extremely flexible too as he was happy to wait for us whilst we ate lunch in a nearby cafe. Thank you Ardana and we are so grateful for the day we had with you!

A beautiful day in Bali

I knew there were so many wonderful things to see and experience in Bali but, traveling from so far away, I wanted to find a local guide/driver so I wouldn’t be too overwhelmed trying to find the spots myself! Merta gave my husband and me a perfect tour. It was relaxing, full of quality information, and he took amazing photos and videos for us! I definitely recommend this tour (the jungle swing is so fun!!). It made our honeymoon even more special, thank you Merta, thank you, Bali!
