Our day trip with Gusde (our guide) was just INCREDIBLE. He picked us up at the hotel and maneuvered through the cities just perfectly while sharing details about our trip and sights we passed by. Our first stop was a public temple (sorry I’m not good with names), where we got to know about its history. From there, we made our way to the monkey forest. Once we reached, Gusde explained the park rules before we entered it through a cave. It’s been just amazing seeing all of these monkeys moving around. ???????????????????? Our next stop was one of the great swings. We chose to try the couple’s swing (honeymoon and so ????), which has been the first time for the both of us and just amazing. After the swing, we got to know more about the coffee and tea plantages and the steps of the coffee production (ever seen coffee beans that were fermented and got out as poop of the Asian palm civets - it tastes just amazing), followed by coffee and tea tasting ????. Next on the plan was a really good lunch (not these simple, cheap lunches you usually get on such trips). We had Tom yum soup, chicken, duck, and fried honey banana. Ar the second last stop we’ve got the chance to see the amazing views of rice terraces and the smart irrigation system. Finally, we visited one of the biggest waterfalls of Bali (beware you need walk 165, high and unequal, steps down and up. The water was just amazing and on our way up afterwards we bought ice cream in freshly baked cones ????. Once Gusde dropped us back to the hotel, we were really exhausted - and extremely happy about the great day we spent with him.

We had a lovely trip. Our guide Lewer was amazing. Very knowledgeable and timed the whole day perfectly. It’s a full day but goes by so quickly - the monkey forest is a must as is the waterfall and jungle swing! The day was perfect and a great way to see some of Bali! Would recommended 100% and ask for Lewer!

Our tour started with the hotel pick up in the morning. Desna has ensured he left the AC on in the car before us getting in due to the humidity and hot weather and it was an absolute treat! Our first stop was the monkey forest which started the tour off on a very positive note. Desna ensured we got our popular monkey selfies and once we were happy to leave we headed to the waterfall and the views were magnificent, Desna ensured we got our pictures in the perfect spots to capture the beauty of the waterfall. We then moved onto the temple of purification and Desna talked us through the temples routine and when special occasions take place. He also told us about specific parts of the temple and history behind them, which was amazing to learn. As a tourist it’s great to visit these places with someone with an in-depth knowledge who can explain how and why things are done. It was a great learning day! We then moved onto the Bali swing which an experience not to forget. Desna built a good rapport with the guys doing the swing and ensured we were given the best experience. This was followed by a delicious lunch and we ended the day at the rice fields. Throughout the day Desna ensured we were comfortable and took the day at our pace. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and cannot recommend Desna highly enough. Such amazing value for the experience and service offered.
