We had an amazing full day tour of the Ubud, Bali area. Our tour guide, Made Wirasa, was outstanding. His English is perfect, and he provided a wealth of knowledge about the people of Bali and their customs. His driving is excellent, and he made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. We feel very fortunate to have him as our guide.

The tour I had today with Dewa was my ABSOLUTE favorite tour I’ve done in Bali (and in Southeast Asia) so far!!! Dewa is so kind and knowledgeable- and he was so gracious to offer to take pictures of me (since I am a solo traveler). He knew exactly when to visit each spot to avoid the crowds, which means the pictures captured were uncrowded and INCREDIBLE. On the way to each stop, he provided in-depth insight into Balinese culture - including teaching me new phrases in Balinese/Indonesian language, reviewing important aspects of Hindu traditions, telling me all about the different foods and fruits in Bali- and even letting me try things like Rambutan and Mangosteen for the first time! On the way back to my hotel and at my request, he took me to a HUGE local market so I could purchase authentic balinese sweets and baked goods to take home to my friends/family. This experience was so memorable in the best way possible, and if I could give ten stars I would. I suggest booking the tour at the earliest possible time (7am) if you wish to avoid crowds. Also start at Kanto Lampo waterfall since crowds build up quickly at this site. Pros: - SPECTACULAR views - Dewa is the kindest person who genuinely tries to teach you all about his culture to enrich your Bali experience, and his English is amazing! - The communication was seamless- starting the day before the tour I got a message on Whatsapp with Dewa’s contact info and confirming the pick up time/location- and on the day of the tour Dewa was actually 10 mins early to pick me up! I appreciated the early start because there were zero crowds wherever we went! -Lunch was a delectable traditional balinese meal (I had the crispy duck) with a GORGEOUS view All of the stops on this tour are BREATHTAKING but my personal favorites in order were: 1) The two waterfalls (Kanto Lampo, Tibumana) 2) The coffee plantation (the assortment of teas, coffees and chocolate included in the sampler flight was DELICIOUS and I ended up buying SO many of these to take back home!!) 3) The water temple (Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu) 4) The rice paddies at Tegalalang Cons: Can’t think of a single one!!! BOOK THIS TOUR and immerse yourself in the surreal paradise that is Ubud, you will thank yourself for doing so! ☺️ Suksma (Thank you) Dewa for helping to make my solo trip to Ubud a memorable one!
